At Ur och Skurskolan Skattkammarön, an outdoor school in Norrköping, we started in 2006. We have a warm school atmosphere where our profile is outdoor education. Teaching is based on the I Ur och Skur and Friluftsfrämjandet's unique pedagogy. The proximity to nature and water provides great opportunities for conducting lessons outside the classroom. Nearby, we also have both Stadium Arena, the ice rink, and the library, which we often take advantage of.

The school is located next to SMHI, in the growing district of Sandtorp, with good connections to central Norrköping.

We have 145 students in grades F-9. The teaching groups consist of 12–18 students. We have an open and supportive staff where team spirit and collaboration are in focus.

We are looking for an engaged teacher in German and would like you to also be able to teach other subjects, who wants to become part of our team in the middle and high school – preferably with a passion for nature and outdoor education!

Your responsibilities

As a teacher at Skattkammarön, you are responsible for planning your subjects as well as implementing and following up on teaching based on the student's needs. You also collaborate with other colleagues regarding the student's knowledge development. You actively participate in the school's and the team's various joint tasks where you contribute with your ideas and experience.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher for grades 7-9 or 4-9 and has experience teaching in these grades. As a person, you are a natural leader who creates engagement and participation around you. It is of great importance that you easily establish contacts and maintain relationships with students and colleagues. Furthermore, we also see that you are driven and persistent in striving towards set goals despite challenges along the way.

You have documented and good competence in leadership. You have experience in leadership roles whether in school or outside of school. It is an advantage if you have experience providing special support in the form of extraordinary efforts.
